Seafarer licence exams
I'm accredited to examine seafarers for their licences: all domestic and STCW Certificates of Competence for deck, plus MEC6, and Recognition Exams for overseas-qualified seafarers. That includes:
- Master
- Mate
- WKD
- DWR
- SFV
- SCO
- SRL
- QDC
I also run recognition exams under STCW for overseas seafarers.

Bespoke maritime training
No fixed syllabus. I build the training around your crew, your vessel and your operation. It sits alongside the bridge and wheelhouse competency training I run on board. And if the training need came out of a safety system review, that's consultancy work and I do that too.
From a fleet operator
We have also had Mark examine several of our people for seafarers' certificates. He was found to be both knowledgeable and fair when dealing with our people.
